Alidé Sans is a singer-songwriter who performs in Occitan. This Romance language is spoken in various regions of Europe including the Val d’Aran, located in northwest Catalonia. She gained recognition with the song “Esperança,” a collaboration with hip-hop group SHHNHC (Sin Hip Hop No Hay Crew) from Val d’Aran to raise awareness about domestic violence.
