The line-up that headlines session #16 of Es Claustre features Anna Szostak on vocals, Icar Toset on guitar, Manuel Alvarez on double bass and Guiem Pons on drums.

Anna Szostak Quartet invokes the old spirits of jazz, evolving from the tradition towards the most current sounds. From Lithuanian origin – although she lived most of her childhood in Poland – and settled in Menorca for 5 years- Anna Szostak comes from a family of artists  her mother is an actress and her father is a jazz drummer. In this musical atmosphere, Anna Szostak began to sing all kinds of musical genres from an early age, although she has always had a special predilection for jazz music. His main musical influences are Shirley Horn, Billie Holiday, Stevie Wonder and Quincy Jones among many others. The line-up that accompanies her has the privileged presence of Icar Toset on guitar, Manuel Álvarez on double bass and Guillem Pons on drums.

La Segona edició del cicle Es Claustre 23

Tots els diumenges, de juny a setembre, la terrassa d’Es Claustre s’omplirà amb l’escena de músics habituals de l’emblemàtic local de jazz de Barcelona, creant el cicle Es Claustre 23.

Aquest concert forma part del «Mapa de Vincles» amb col·lectius, entitats, artistes o persones que Es Claustre inicia des de l’any 2021, amb Robadors 23
