«ForTheFreshlyPeople» d’Eivissa a Es Claustre

ForTheFreshlyPeople is a concept created by the trumpetist, composer, pianist, and producer from Ibiza Pere Navarro. This idea occured to him as a result of his experience with “Lemon Emigrants”, a well-known jazz/funk group com Ibiza.

In addition, this concept is a union of musicians/groups/artists that live in Ibiza, although they also visit Barcelona often. Moreover, the union is conformed by musicians from all around the world, such as France, New York, L.A., Sweden, Poland ….

Some of the worth-highlighting names of the concept and union are: Franco Botto (Ibiza) Tomàs Fosch (Barcelona/Texas), Thomas K. Warburton Jr. (USA), Miko Weaver (USA – guitarist ofPrince), Anton Jarl (Sweden – Mambo Jambo), Llorenç Barceló (Mallorca) i Dani Domínguez (Madrid).

The idea is to make ephemeral groups which are created for the occasion with musicians from different styles/origins -either geographical or musical- to play in a series of special concerts with a musical base which fluctuates between jazz, funk, neo-soul, disco, and R&B.

The aim of the union is to create, to innovate, to interact, and to explore new sounds through the ephemeral groups that are created. It is important to remark that creativity is never forgotten.

The point of departure is always to make quality music while keeping the best attitude on stage, with the aim of achieving the aim of making these “Freshly People” enjoy to the maximum by offering them the best vibes and the best musical notes.
